Clutch spring assembly - is this movement normal?
I've been experiencing pulsations in the clutch pedal during any pedal movement ('17 M240). It's RPM dependent and only noticeable when moving in/out, not holding steady. I'm wondering if it's related to the spring assembly since it's only felt when moving the pedal.
I looked at the parts and wondered if this is normal: a) only the top 3 coils extended; b) there is a blue ring inside that clearly and audibly moves when depressing. I attached a link to a quick video. Is that something wrong? Any help appreciated- initial dealer visit just said everything's normal but I doubt they looked. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0mLN9jUNI4 |

Yep, it's all good dude. My 235 also has slight vibes in it as well. Actually, every direct linkage rear drive manual car has similar sensations. You have to think about all of the attached rotating components that transmit some nvh through the pedal. it's all good, enjoy the car!
