Suspension on Sport Line vs M Sport 230i RWD
Before the refresh, I understand all 228s came with sport suspension except XDrive models, which were 10mm higher
I'm thinking of ordering a 230i 6MT RWD Sport Line and wondering which suspension it has? Does the sport line RWD have sport suspension or regular xDrive, just not raised 10mm. Checking the builder, you must get the M Sport to get M Sport suspension. I will not be getting the track pack. Please if anyone has any insight or know where I might get a definitive answer as to which suspension comes with Sport Line 230i RWD Thank You Roman Gas |

I had an extended rental 228i (RWD) with the regular suspension. Quite frankly, it was way too soft. Softer than the adaptive suspension in the m235i/m240i in comfort mode. If the 230i sport line has the same suspension as the 228i (which it should), you should really get the m-sport package and/or track package if you are looking for a sporty ride and can afford it.

When I ordered my 230, I was told all 230s were Sport Line. To remove it, you had to add the Lux package, M Sport or Track package. Lux gave the standard suspension (softest) and was told that it would not have the red stitching on the steering wheel.
