Dyno Tests

Has anyone Dyno'ed a 330i yet? We are all getting conflicting stories as to how fast (0-60 times) and hp at wheels really is.

straight line is/was never what BMW was all about

the key thing is cornering, if I wanted a straight line car I'd buy a vette

Knowing how fast it goes doesn't make it a straight-line-only performer.

all I'm saying is I trust BMW won't make a slow car

the cornering is what I'm interested in, don't get me wrong a fast car is nice, but that's only a small part of the story.

a BMW has not been a great choice for a drag racer ever, but what we may give up in a straight line is more than made up for in the corners, as long as a skilled driver is behind the wheel

i dont get why people cant just answer this question w/o bringing up the topic of "oh, who cares about HP" or "who cares about straight line performance". he asked a question out of, what i believe to be, curiosity, and i myself too, would like to know out of curiosity. i didnt buy my car cuz of the HP, i bought it more for the drive just like im sure most of the people here did, but if a guy wants to kno, he doesnt need a useless post telling him something that isn't pertinent to his question.

when someone can answer his question, please do so, as i myself too wanted to kno, and was going to post a similar post today but got too lazy to. thanx for asking ponchoyu

If you chose a Corvette C5 or C6, you'd have got acceleration AND superb handling. But no back seat and not as refined. Lack of handling capability is certainly NOT the reason I'm moving from a C5 to a 330i.

I'd like the dyno info as well, and I'd be interested to know how the 330i stacks up against the E36 M3.
