Just installed the M Performance interior trim
Interior is complete for me. Just need to decide on if I want to do the steering wheel as well. Not sure about the wear and tear on the wheel as a daily driver.

Looks great! Steering wheel is totally worth it. You might have to use alcantara cleaner every now and then to get it back to it's original softness but it's a super quick job.

Hey, same interior as mine. I also did the shifter as well but not the steering. I don't think the Alcantara will do.

Looks great. This is one of the first things I did on mine and I love it. I would also suggest doing the shifter as well. Really completes the look. I am debating changing out the steering wheel as well, but don't want to lose my heated wheel.

The shifter piece has a clear coat over it, correct? Not the dry carbon like the other pieces.

Looks great! For some reason I thought it was clear coated. Maybe I was looking at a piece from a different manufacture.

Take care of them
1.Door handle may pop up in high temperature like under sunshine, just push them back is fine. 2.On the panel, M Performance Logo, letter e in "Performance" might be cut or break during daily use. |

One I saw is fully cut into pieces. I live in Toronto and 35C around, it pops out some time but I just push them back. |

Yep, I've had this interior since day one, love it! Have not had the issues mentioned in this thread.
Alcantara wheel - watch out for nicking it, nothing worse than accidentally feeling that you just nicked it with your nail accidentally then I rub it praying it just goes away... What alcantara cleaner are you guys talking about? I have barely done anything. I swear it was supposed to be "just a tiny bit of water and microfiber, nothing else" I rub my hands all over it, so it's definitely oiled ... and I mean that in a good way, no issues

Looks great! Now all you need is the CF gear selector. I saw one in person on the m235i racing and it looks really cool. Not sure if it's worth $200 though
