Question Birds B3 or Meisterr

Looking to replace my suspension set-up with either birds b3 or Meisterr

Price between the two doesn't matter however looking for people who have used either set ups on their BMW. I'm currently running tired msport suspension and day to day its fine however on track it sure does wallow around lol. I appreciate its a heavy diesel car (335d) but would like to cure this a little lol.

I have always ran "decent" coilover set ups on past cars as I prefer the adjust-ability of them plus they tend to ride a little firmer when required.

Also while changing the suspension, is there anything that becomes easily accessible to change? I notice birds list "M3 Rear Subframe Bush". Is it a good swap?

Any help and info would be great.

Thought about Ohlins R&T, or is that outside your price range..?

The Miesters will be the best all round kit between the two. The birds kit is conventional dampers where the Miesters are fully adjustable coilovers. The Miester damper response rates are designed for the road though so are quite progressive so you'll get the best of both worlds. The design of the coilovers are well suited to prolonged use and heat compared to the traditional dampers too. It's a no brainier really. Top mounts come with the Miesters as well so won't need replacing like they are advised with the b3, and are adjustable so you can get the correct camber on the front!

Thanks both. I know a fair few people running the Miesters but mainly on Jap cars, even the GTR lads seem to like them

I run the birds kit and it's the best mod I've done. The reason the birds kit isn't adjustable is because it has been specifically designed and tuned for the E9x platform. Not saying other kits aren't good, like the Ohlins mentioned above but the Birds kit is fit and go. Depends what you are using the car for, if its your DD then the Birds kit is perfect for uk roads. If you plan on doing a lot of track days then an adjustable setup could give more flexibility.
