Best intake for 328xi

This probably was asked a lot through the forums but i wanted to know more exactly what the best intake would be for a 328xi. As of now im thinking of either getting a injen or just doing a k&n filter with the delete. Want to see what you guys would think is best for performance and sound also with a decent price.

Best....BMW performanc...and I will base this response solely because it's ridiculous expensive.
Good....dinan....also expensive but is liked from what I read.
Fair....KN with charcoal delete gives some louder sounds but meh nothing special.

I'm pretty sure they all work the same w very minimal gain deficits between each intake. If I didn't get this Gruppe M rep intake 2 days ago for $100 I would have went with the AFE stg 2 enclosed intake. Honestly, wasn't in the market for one but couldn't pass up on the price. The intake defffff woke up the n52. Wayyy more torquey and throttle response improved also. Feels like I threw in a mini turbo in the engine bay with out the blow off sound. The grunt of the intake sounds pretty savage with the muffler delete as well.

Cop that boy!

Considering all you'll get is sound from it, it's really all about looks after that.

Had the BMW PE on my 2009 328xi coupe back when, and it looked and sounded amazing.

I've been thinking about the bmw performance as well or just the euro box intake . From what i've seen KN with the delete doesn't give much sound.

Thats a really good deal for a intake. Does the Gruppe M rep got a heatshield and everything?

It gives a little....that's my set-up...just can't justify dropping big $$ on the performance for very little gain.
I'm curious how much better it would sound compared to my thrifty set-up.

Not really looking for major performance gains so Injen isnt bad for me. I might go for the BMW performance intake but i dont know if i should put a lot of money just for a intake.

An intake is going to have little or no impact on your engine's performance as far as HP gains, but it will definitely sound better. However, you'll be spending a lot of $$$ just for a sound change which you'll only hear at hard acceleration.
Although, for me, I would rather upgrade the muffler for a meaner sound even though I know it won't impact the engine's performance much either, but I can afford it. I'm thinking of getting the BMW Performance muffler because it gives a nice sweet sound from the sound clips and videos I've seen.

Yea, a carbon fiber heat shield with a huge k&n filter. Was only used for 4k miles

Open hood and look down. There you go, there is the best intake for the 328.

Charcoal delete, K&N filter, silencer delete. More power? doubt it, but the sound is fun which is worth it to me. And all can be done for under $100

Why? Only thing you will gain is some noise, your butt-dyno won't feel a thing, and your bank account will be like "wtf is wrong with this guy?".

It's a 328 not looking for a lot of performance gains . Just want a little sound , and Injen isn't quite expensive .

You asker for the best intake, we gave you answers you ignored them and did something else. Why bother asking?

Charcoal delete with a K&N + silicone elbow will perform better and be cheaper.
