Is pierburg really the OEM for Water pump? 06 330 e90 car. Pierburg so much cheaper

Is Pierburg good enough?

I believe Pierburg supplies pumps for the n52 motor. Siemens VDO (now Continental) are the suppliers for the N54 motors.
