Yes but you have to be close to the car
You can open by holding the unlock button and close by holding the lock button. But you still need to be right next to the car |

I have the smarttop also, works well from any distance, and there are a few more features. I switched the convertible button direction. You can open/close all windows one-touch door switch. You can choose window to default up or down when top is up or down. The top can also be one-touch (no holding switch) and can continue moving after car off and/or doors open - slick.
