Let me be the first to say it is absolutely no where near as bad as the 50% of people in all muffler delete threads made out to be. Mine has some drone on the highway at one or two specific speeds, bump the speed up or down a couple of kms/hr and its quiet again.

That said it doesn't sound as good as some of the exhauts iv heard, its reasonably loud at wot but again nothing like everyone made out, its a sports car ffs.

It pops and gurgles quite a bit and it sounds best at the top end, its deep, Im looking forward to catless dps, then it should sound very agressive.

Went for a blast in an e46 m3 which has a very iconic exhaust note, and was much happier getting back into my 335 after the drive as far as sound goes. That said with an aftermarket exhaust the e46 sounds incredible.

Only video I have of when I had mine:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ky3t1sg37p...60709.mp4?dl=0

Sounded nice imo, but there was a lot of drone around my cruising rpm on the highway and I do a lot of highway driving so mufflers went back on.

A high rate Vibration within the cabin is drone. I had the muffler delete and perosnally loved the sound on the outside, but inside Vibrations was annoying.

Pretty much the best way to describe the muffler delete.

Got mine done 2 days ago. Many people told me it wasn't going to be loud but it is loud. One of the best sounds ive heard though, you can hear your turbos very clearly and it sounds amazing in my opinion. Would recommend 100%

There is some drone but ive already got used to it, its very minimal and the nice sound you hear makes up for it. Definitely turns head and the down shifts sound beautiful aswell

I've been debating whether to get a muffler delete as well. I'm starting to feel like getting a new exhaust would be pointless and a waste of money.

Only two exhaust i will recommend is either BMW PE exhaust or corsa axle back exhaust. For the corsa takes a month to make and cost $900-1000. BMW PE Varies in price if you can find a used one $700-1,200. I would advice for Corsa everytime i hear my friends exhaust I get pissed because I wasnt patient enough to wait.

I can only talk for the n52 and would say it's too loud ! yeah its fun the first few weeks but not good for long trips or for having passengers asking what the hells wrong with your car !

I have come across a local exhaust shop who can leave the mufflers in place and fit valves so you can have mufflers on or off from the touch of a button. not sure of the cost of this but I would say this would be the best option for me considering muffler delete.

You'll get used to it. You also may beed to insulate some of the plastic cabin fixtures, as they tend to vibrate during low RPMS (stop n' go traffic, etc). I'm glad I did it, the exhaust looks better, sounds better, and my car is about 30lbs lighter now.
