Talking Dinan Stage 1 Dyno Results

I have been running the Stg 1 Dinan set-up (with their exhaust) since December 2014 and finally had the oppurtuniy to strap her onto a Dyno. The motor made more power than I expected....

Great #s ! I'm also very interested in Stage 2 & intake (when the intakes become readily available).

How do you like the exhaust? Is there more in cabin sound vs stock?

Barely any increase in noise level--least of any aftermarket exhaust I have ever had on any of my cars. If I had the choice I would go with it again.

Yeah, I'm running it on my MPPK N55 (with Dinan tune) and it sounds glorious. Louder and throatier than the MPE and Dinan. I have the "S" version and I hear the "ATAK" is even more aggressive.

Nice numbers! I want to get their CBE/intake + Stage 2 combo when I get M235i next year.

it never fails to surprise me that people don't seem to understand how dynos work. numbers without a baseline are absolutely useless. I'm sure i could find a dyno that reads my car as 400hp but that doesn't mean it actually is 400hp! dynos are useful to see the difference in hp and torque when adding hardware and tunes.

that being said, i agree that had OP done a baseline run I'm sure the gains would be much less impressive. i myself as well as a few other members dynoed the stage 1 with a baseline and it barely made half the advertised gains. i doubt stage 2 is much better.
