Fuse #?
Good morning,
Would anyone know an appropriate fuse # to piggy-back on as an "Accessory" (fuse box in the trunk)? i.e. turn on car, dashcam comes on. I've fed the wiring for my dashcam to the rear (using Multi-Safer low voltage cutoff device) and can't quite figure out which fuse # to piggy-back to....I was thinking fuse #100 (15a) or #161 (20a) or #153 (5a)...? Any help would be appreciated. Thx. Dave

Why not just plug it into your cigarette lighter socket?

It was originally, but don't want the wire hanging down from the unit to the socket. I guess it's just a visual thing for me.
No worries, though. Thanks. I'll be at the dealership Saturday for my x3 so I'll check with the parts counter, they might know.

For others looking for the correct ACC fuse #...(credit to Lazee 1): "...and for ACC I used 147 which is the fuse for the radio. Both use 5amp fuses."

Quick one for others who are contemplating their own wiring/fuse work; fuse # 147 for ACC worked great (trunk). Dashcam now comes on/off when the car is started.
Don't forget to connect to the + batt terminal as well as grounding. Dave
