Michelin PSS Tires, Car doesnt Pull Hard?

Hello Tire Experts
So I ditched RFTs and decided to get Michelin PSS Summer tires "Stock Size 18", I have 2009 335i Sedan with Sport pkg,
Tires have now close to 400 miles on them, I know they need some time to break in. Today I decided to put the car in sport mode and push the accelerator hard. when I had RFTs, the car used to pull hard and jump. with these tires car doesn't pull hard it used to with RFTs, do these tires still need some time to break in or with these tires car wont pull hard they way it used to with RFTs?

Please advise

Did you change the size? Are you mistaking grip for slip? The Michelin run wide for their size but they also weigh less. they should jump more out the gate from shedding pounds.

What pressure are you running? Are you driving with traction control off?

Well that plays a huge part in how the tires respond and feel so please get that so we can see if there are any issues.

The tires are firmer and more performance orientated than the rft. My car used to squat hard with winter tires on and I would think I'm popping wheels. Once I switched over to the summer tires it stays straight and mentally you would think it's not pulling as it should

Dude, yesterday on highway I was doing 60+ and I push gas pedal and car didn't move, it just make noise that it is pushing hard, I also checked speedo and needle didn't move and this was not the case before changing tires. nothing wrong with car. there was nothing done or replaced recently.

I will wait 500 miles+ and see how it goes

Looking at where you live I'm going to assume that weather is playing a part here. It's currently 47 degrees in new york and at about 45 degrees these tires turn into hockey pucks. They are still usable but the performance isn't going to be there as if it were 80 degree out. I have these and use them year round and weather definitely affects the tires.

100 miles won't make much difference. What will make a big difference is tire pressure. So you should get a gauge and measure it. It will take 2 min tops to do.

I'm sorry but you pressed the throttle down and the car didn't accelerate? This isn't a tire problem...

If it didn't move it's a boost issue than. Flooring it at 60 will send u flying into the back seat. Any smoke issues? Check for boost leaks, get a log in and put it up
