Car shakes at higher RPM

Hey guys,

Yesterday a check engine light showed up while driving on the highway and noticed my car started shaking and kicking very abnormally. I pulled over and restarted the car and noticed it went away but after flooring it again, i noticed it started shaking and kicking again. This only happens when i accelerate really fast but if i accelerate slow, the drive will be completely normal. Do you guys have any idea whats wrong?

I looked on the forums and found some forums stating that it could be coils or sparks plugs?

My car is a 2007 335i with 57k miles.

How many miles on plugs? Are you tuned?

Same issue I had. Check both spark plugs and coils. After replacing all spark plugs and certain coils (I know I should have changed all coils) the problem went away. Good luck OP!

Since your Fi'd, all spark plugs and coils should be changed. A couple of friends with 35 series engines have had the same symptoms around the same milage and changed both out. Having the code(s) read would be a good idea either way

I had a similar problem, but my car would go into limp mode. Turned out to be an injector.

Hopefully it's just plugs and coils.
