On the 2 Series front, BMW brought out the M235i Convertible for its auto show debut and a fully decked out M235i with M Performance Parts.

Should'nt there be grey horizontal stripes on the front bumper which tell its an M235i?

Silly question, the M235i is supposed to be a M performance model, then why does it need additional M performance parts ??, shouldnt it be coming with them on as standard ??

228i is a different story

Big improvement and more aggressive over the previous model. I'll reserve final judgement until next month when it arrives in Chicago.

Watch all the auto auctions on tv and every announcer always says put the top down if you want someone to buy it. Why would they show it with the top up? It's never going to look as good as a coupe so why show it with the top up? I do like it and having owned a 335 conv there are pluses and minuses of a hard top with weight and size it takes up to fold into the trunk. Hard tops are quiet and look better but it may be a wash.

2 series vert was at the San Diego show. Didn't bother to hop in or really pay much attention, but you sure this is the debut for the m235 vert? Wouldn't make sense to show a 228 vert first would it?

glad to see its a soft top.

very interesting that any post that related to the m performance parts not being a part of the m235 as standard got deleted.. apparently freedom of speech and opinions contrary to the forum owners about new bmw products on a forum does not exist.
