From "Drive" to "Off"
I noticed that when you push the power button while in drive and standing still it will automatically go into "Park" and then turn off.
Is this bad for the car? Do you have to first manually press park on the shifter knob, and then off for the car to be safely off and parked? |

No, that's been a std feature on BMWs for the past few years.
I use it all the time. BMW is not going to develop a feature which is "bad for the car".

Thanks.
Good to know. I'm coming from an 07 and still getting used to the shifter with the electric park as opposed to the traditional shifter. |
