My first NEW BMW/Intro

Hi All,

My name is John Schroeder, and i ordered my M235i about 6 weeks ago from Hendrick BMW in NC in estoril Blue! Ive owned 2 e30's, and raced several other bmw cars through the years, but Now spend most of my track time behind a camera as a motorsports photographer, but greatly looking forward to getting back to the track in the new car!

Im expecting delivery on Sept 4th at the Performance center, where il be writing about my experience there.

Ordered as basic as possible

MPE & Diffuser

Congrats. Great choice in cars. You got a stripper 235, I got a stripper 228 Msport. Got mine from Hendrick northlake. Great folks there. Nice to have another 2er in the Charlotte area

i started moving that directions till i got a new job and moved from NY to NC so i have no clients and no time to devote to it anymore, i go when i can and shoot w credentials for different organizations, its just not as often as i would like

How did you get the Lime Rock Park picture from the bridge over the Sam Posey Straight?

congrats, OP. my build is similar except I added the LSD and CW package (b/c I'm a big p*ssy when it comes to cold weather). btw, I highly recommend the m perf shift knob.

I have a hard card for media at limerock and at the beginning of certain races with special permission you can shoot the first few laps from up above. there is an access hole there and you have to climb up, but the vantage is awesome!!

thank you. haha, i live in NC now, and have a second car (2014 subaru impreza) if needed for crap days so hopefully no need for that anymore, but i hear ya, cold weather sucks haha. Consider the LSD but i wanted to see how it performed first before putting that kind of money into it for track purposes, from what im reading, brakes may need to be looked at first

Very cool! I guess I never noticed that, and I've been to LRP a dozen times.
Was that shot taken last year during the Ferrari Challenge?

yes it was...honestly i never knew i could go up there till their director of media asked me if i wanted to go and try it...couldn't turn it down!
