Me too. It was a beautiful, sunny morning and I drove to the tire shop with the top down, of course. So winter tires are on but still seeing a few more top down drives this week!

How do you get the second set of tires to the shop and home? Do you actually transport them in the car? Why not buy a jack and save the cash?

I had my new wheels installed recently, and the old tires fit in 235 with seats down...had blanket for edges etc...but easy fit.

Yep. Discount Tire bags them and they fit in the car. I have winter tires but not winter wheels, so not really a do it yourself operation.

Dropped my car off to get some more mileage out of my extended warranty.

Charge pipe finally blew up at 54,000 miles. I've thought about going aftermarket but can't deal with the lead time currently so a new plastic one will have to do for now.

I had also been meaning to replace the windshield washer pump which no longer works, but since it is in for the charge pipe might as well have them fix that too.

The dealership also told me the thrust arm bushings are both leaking, is this a common issue at my mileage? Did a quick search and didn't see much at all, and was under the car about 5k miles ago and didn't see any signs of what they're describing.

Yep...my second set of BMW wheels and BMW spec Conti TS830 RF winters went on last week...right before the first snow. They came with our 2 series and dealer placed all 4 in with the rear seat folded down.

Of course...now the forecast is for 60 degree temps in the coming week

You must be near me. Judging by your name, you also must own or have owned a Miata. I did too. A 91 BRG. As much as I love our 228i, I will forever miss that car.

Yep...I'm a bit south of you near Des Moines....had a '99 Sport and then a '08 PRHT.....replaced that with one of the last '15 MINI Roadster S. Still "look" at my photo of the White '99 Miata Sport...miss the manual!

Much coding!! Love the ability to personalize so much thru Bimmercode. Eliminated some annoying chimes and reminders, altered the convenience entry and exit a bit, jumped the I-drive up a generation.. Highly recommended!

The smoked tail lights really bring the rear end of the car together. I'm about to do the same with my Estoril Blue vert.

Another Warm Midwest Day...

So...I took advantage and treated the leather in our cars with Griot's 3-in-1 Leather Care.

Tomorrow...the wife's car will get an exterior detail before temps drop to "normal" November next week.

I gave my girl some new shoes and took her dancing all over central Ohio. Swapped out the OEM runflats for DWS06 Contis and wow, the difference is huge. Feels better cornering AND a more comfortable ride. Should feel less squirrely in the wet too, but I'll have to wait for some rain to find out.

Took it to the track (yesterday) in Canaan, NH for the last of the season. Fluke gorgeous day, 70 degrees and sunny. Nearly 3 hours of seat time and even managed to lap an M2 Comp (twice!) — Of course, not a race and all sorts of experience levels, just pure fun but those were nice moments

I did hit an Apex cone going about 70 so the passenger fender needs attention. Went to put the windows up for the drive home only to discover bits of tire in the window switches. The car is plastered in rubber marks and was definitely the hardest track on the car so far, even more than driving in the rain at Club Motorsports a few weeks back. Good fun. Now it’s maintenance and new winter wheels/tires time... or maybe just drive the E34 touring and kick back in the leather recliner.

That looks great. Is that the OEM M performance diffuser?
