Does S676 HiFi Speaker System (not HK) have 1 or 2 sub-woofers ?

I have a 2016 228i, couple, with the basic sound system (S676), not the Harmon Kardon upgrade.

I pulled my center dash speaker (big improvement) because I was getting static there. I decided to look into some upgraded speakers, and the Focal speakers are well written up / reviewed. I'm good with replacing the door and rear shelf speakers, I just can't figure out if I have 1 or 2 sub-woofers. I put some "bass-y" music on and my ear near under the seat. I think I've got a single sub-woofer under the passenger seat, but not the drivers. I can't tell if there is really any noise coming from there, or that I'm just hearing the bleed-over from the passenger side.

So question - do I have one or two sub-woofer?

And if I have only one sub-woofer, can I connect two (is there existing wiring and power to that wiring?)

My 2017 230i with HiFi has a sub under each seat.

You should have 2 " subs" but it is easily possible that one is dead.
