Unlike other M performance parts the carbon fibre interior trim was harder to source (as none in USA have RHD).. So I got them from eBay (genuine came in BMW Germany boxes, BMW stickers on the inside of the items as well) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/391058694...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT They shipped via UPS from the UK, so got the items within a few days. Cheapest I got quoted from BMW was $1850... I paid just under $1200 shipped... So installed it myself (a mate did it) and saved $650.

Just removed the warning label delete... It was a little bit painful... It didn't turn out perfect... but overall not too upset.

Just installed a milltek race cat-back system. Sounds pretty awesome! It utilises the oem valvetronic system, so in comfort it's only marginally louder, with windows up its pretty quiet, no drone whatsoever which is what I wanted. In sport it roars, it's not obnoxiously loud, the overrun pops and pops.
Very happy with the system

This is a short video, I'll take a longer video of cold start, drivebys etc. I'd suggest you go with the race system. There are several key benefits, the Milltek exhaust utilises the OEM valvetronic system, which allows the exhaust flaps to open and close (sport and comfort respectively), which means it can be stealth when you want it to be. The "road" version might be a little bit soft I would assume, as this is "loud" but not that loud. With windows up, there's no drone whatsoever even for the "race" version. So yea I'd suggest that one.

Hey the carbon mirror caps look good. On mine being S-black the grey looks naff. How much and where from? I presume plastic not actually carbon?

Added 2 nice little addition.
The M6 Paddles and the tri-color stickers. Took it for a short drive and loving the M6 paddles, great addition! Not too sure about the sticker though haha.

MANHART TIME!!!
Just installed the manhart MHtronik stage 1 tune today!! This will just be an initial thought and my experience so far... Overall dealing with manhart (Konstantin) was pretty good. Living in Australia we get import tax, duties and GST for all goods over $1000 aud, they were happy to adjust invoice to my needs. Anyways ended up paying $2800 for the unit (delivery, bank fees etc.) and yes it's pricey compared with jb4!!! But oh well I wanted something different and read pretty great things about the system. For the install, this was a tough one... Some negatives first with manhart... The instructions weren't as clear as it should be, there were minor bits that were rather confusing... The other thing is instructions were for LHD cars, and position of things were slightly different for RHD cars... Some members said it would take 45-60 mins... It did take us around 4 hours... Some bits we just had to keep searching google for answers... We eventually got there, with some minor modifications... Now onto the initial impression of the drive... NERVOUS! Haha I was very worried we didn't install it right, so I took it easy... Drove it to my mate's place (he owns a M135i with brand new rear tyres) he took it for a drive and he instantly said it's massively different... In my mind I was a little skeptical... Then we went for a little drag... Now I must say WOW!!! The test was just done on some back street, probably 200-300m max, standing and 20km/h rolling start I simply just pulled away probably 1.5 car lengths to 100km/h. On the way home I did a little bit more spirited driving and yes it does feel different, main thing so far is the torque, it's noticeably stronger, it pulls all the way to the red line, and it's SMOOTH, it feels very OEM. Anyways that's my initial thought... My mate will be getting a jb4 ($1000 installed) in a few weeks, it's 1/3 of the price... We'll probably do a little bit more comparison between the two tunes, will dyno it as well to compare, and see if the manhart system is worth it, will probably do a little test with the 1M with McChip-dkr tune as well, probably throw that on the dyno as well. But yes overall pretty happy after a stressful installation.
