Dinan Shockware flash lost after service?
Had my 2016 228i serviced today. Ride feels softer now. Concerned that they flashed something and overwrote the Shockware suspension flash I've had for three years. Is this possibly or likely? Is there any way to check (I have a coding cable)? Does Dinan keep any records that it was done? Would they redo it for free? Maybe I'm imagining but...

@Dinan_Engineering Car still feels softer. Is it possible the flash got overwritten? I had it done by my local Dinan rep (West Bay Bavarian) about three years ago.

If BMW over wrote the Dinan software then you should have the soft factory installed Comfort/Eco Mode settings again. If the ride feels soft like a Toyota then you probably did lose the flash.

It's definitely possible. You can get it teflashed though and there wouldn't be a charge from Dinan. Dealer may charge for the time/labor for the task though.
