Interested for m235! Prefer to keep dual tip than m2's quad tip as I have the m performance diffuser. Muffler shop shouldn't have a problem doing so right? All I would need is the clamp? Or maybe just weld?

Sounds possible. Muffler shop would probably charge $200+ for the work to cut off the quad tips and weld on the stock dual tips. Then weld the new muffler on, no clamp required

That's exactly the quote I got today, will be around 200-250 for the work. Don't know if they'll reuse the stock dual tips or fabricate their own. I asked if I would be compromising sound by cutting off the quad tips, and after verifying the tailpipes weren't resonated, the guy mentioned it wouldn't be much. Should still be better than stock. But overall pricing for muffler and work is still significantly less than the best price I can find for an MPE alone. Will be dropping the car off later this week, hoping for the best!
