Well - this is the only hint actually from BMW (as opposed to our more or less educated guessing and speculation), indicating that - price aside - even driving with DSC on will not prevent from utilizing the advantages of M-P LSD...

As soon as I have my car, and the LSD is installed, I will report to you guys on whether it was worth it, indeed....

After 600 miles without the LSD followed by my just completed 600 miles with the LSD I can tell you for a fact that the LSD is not needed for bad weather. The nannys/e-diff are as good (or maybe better) for bad weather/slippery roads. The effect of the e-diff/nannys are more measured and works well in low traction situations.

Well - I could get it slightly discounted from my dealer for some $3,600 (22% VAT included, installation included). But - after having read this:

http://www.2addicts.com/forums/showt...1077876&page=1

- gave up on the LSD for the time being. When my ordered M235i finally arrives, I will have 2 cars on lease so every penny counts. Who knows - perhaps after I have paid at least the Gold R off, I'll order LSD for my M235i - but want to try it "on their own" (i.e. w only the electronic nannies) first.
