F30 Suspension Fit F22

I still have the factory suspension (shocks, struts, springs) from my F30 (2015 335i) when I replaced it with coilovers. I want to replace the stock springs on my F22 (2016 M235i) with lower springs but was thinking if I can swap the stock shocks with the ones from the F30.

I've noticed that some coilover systems with the same part number will fit both cars. Does anyone know if the factory shocks fit as well?

struts and shocks will swap over as well as long as you are none EDC. Use Rearloem.com to validate the interchangeability though.

Yes, straight swap, although I think you'll find the ride height built into the 235i springs will be lower than F30.

Sorry for reviving an old thread, if I have EDC I should be able to still use f30 coilovers and code the error out right?
