F22 CPO about to expire, what needs to be checked
Car is going to dealer Monday for:
- Faulty passenger rear taillight - Will they replace both rear lights since this is such a common problem - AC condensor freezing up on long trips in hot Houston heat What else should I have them check/update before my CPO runs out? - Update Maps - Is there a new software update for the 8sp auto - Other Thanks |

Look at all rubber weather stripping really well, all doors, trunk, engine bay, area between hood and wind shield, sun roof. These items tend to wear out/ get weather beaten and get tears or deteriorate. If possible drop the undercar areo plates and look at the transmission seal were the drive line goes into it, look for any leaks. Well there look at the drive shaft carrier bearing/rubber for cracks. Also look at front control arm bushings for cracks or seeping oil.

They did not replace both my taillights, but they repaired the one that quit working, would not even look at the other one as it was still working.
Don't know what year your car is but see if this extended warranty coverage on lights applies to you... |
