Jesus you really do not know how to handle people huh? Ok how about this, every time I run the numbers for someone you can comment and say "but that's base so it's shitty" there will that make you feel better?

I'm trying to make people feel happy and confident about there deals because it's SO FUCKING RARE that a dealer gives them the base numbers off the bat. PERIOD. So when I say it's a hell of deal, it's because it's so against the norm it's shocking and they should be happy. Now get the fuck off my thread.
With communication skills like this, are you sure your an attorney? Sure others in this forum can be difficult and act stupid, but they don't go around holding themselves out as attorneys who are above the rest. You started the thread expecting people to grasp certain terms/usage that have legal significance to lawyers, but not necessarily the general public, and now here we are. You really simplified things in this last post. We are here to talk cars and no one, not even lawyers, care to be that precise in a car forum.
So if someone says I don't think that is a good deal AND its actually not a good deal, assume they are not specking subjectively just because they said "I think".
Its miscommunication like this that makes me hate this forum sometimes, can we just give each other the benefit of the doubt and ask questions if we have them.

So the Base MF for march is .0013?

Also the residuals of 61% (12k/yr), 59% (15k/yr), is that for 36 month or 39 month lease?

Please let me know since I'm getting quote from dealer tomorrow....

Your residuals are correct, but only 36 month leases for March, no 39 month leases. MF is.00129.

Thanks for the info, appreciate it!

Question: I usually do about 13-14.5k miles/yr. Should I do a 12k/yr lease and buy miles or just do the 15k/yr lease?

I got different rates for buying miles in the middle of the lease. I heard one person say it was $0.10/mile, another dealer said $0.16/mile, for someone with a 12k/yr lease.

They were just trying screw you over unless you had terrible credit:
My credit is good. Ended up financing the 328 with BMWFS at 2.9 for 60 months.
Gotcha! Well congrats! The 328i is a great car congrats!
Thanks but I was/am still wanting a NEW 2 series lol.

over at bimmerfest I've always read it was $.16/mile

You'd have to do the math to see if it makes sense to go with a 12k lease.

Is the bank fee the same as an acquisition fee?

So if the MSRP of my 2 is 38,550 and the edmunds tmv says dealer invoice is 36,000, you guys have said my target should be around 36,500 all in. Does that include acquisition fee?

Im guessing that it doesn't so how can I get "all in" for 36,500?

36K is the dealer invoice + 250 for regional ad fee and 250 more for doc fee and we are at 36,500 already without adding any dealer profit.

Wouldn't they have to sell me this (ordered car) for under invoice for this to be possible?

Thanks again

Acquisition fee should not be included. That's the fee that BMWFS charges for all leases, $795, check make sure dealer doesn't mark it up.

You may use leasematic iphone app to calculate your lease to check against dealer quote.

doc fee... these are dealer profit areas

Hi Everyone,

I'm about to take delivery of my M235i and i'm planning to finance due to the miles I drive (15K-18K annually). Not sure if leasing would workout for me mainly due to the mileage I drive however would like to know what deal to look for if I do consider that route. Would appreciate some help breaking down the numbers please.

2015 M235i (Tech, Drivers Assist, Red Dakota, M Perf Exhaust w/diffuser and Blk kidney grills)
MSRP: $51,105
Cash down: Max 3K for lease (Planning 10-15k for finance)
Mileage: 15K
Term: 36-39 months or whatever has the best deals in April
Car was ordered
In Los Angeles, CA

Not sure if there is additional info I left out that is needed. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

I've seen many references to both base MF and negotiations for the MF. Can a person with excellent credit negotiate below base? If so how far? One article stated that a 'good' MF would be equivalent to a current low interest rate. For example, my credit union is currently offering 2.39. That would equate to .000995 (2.39 / 2400).

Thought?

the base rate MF is set by BMWFS and cant be changed, dealers can mark it up, you may do MSD's to lower the MF(search)

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to lease this car under $500pm with $2000 down? What kind of discount am I going to need to see from the dealer? It's got more content than I was planning but if I can make it fit into my budget why not right?
Also, is there anyway to tell if this one has the higher top speed limiter? Not a huge deal but would be nice to know. A BMW with an M on the back should be limited to 127mph!
Thanks in advance!

Edit: Link would help huh? http://www.bmwtricities.com/new-Spok...1J9C50FV371410

The M235i is limited to 155 mph I believe.

Low mileage equity value?

I am going to be turning in my lease for another lease. Currently I am 8,000 miles under on my 30k lease. What is that worth and how do I get that towards my next lease?

You don't get any future lease incentive for being under miles. They only ding you for being over on miles, not the other way around.
