Bmw 135i to bmw 228i brake upgrade

So I own both a 2011 135i with the 6 pistons and a 2016 228i and I want to switch the brakes because I'm trying to make the 2 series my main drive. Anyone know any adapters or anything I might need to do this conversion?

It is not possible to swap the brake systems. Even if it were, I believe you would be making both cars worse. Assuming you're trying to be frugal, your best bet is getting the blue Brembo F22/F30 calipers second hand from eBay with a new set of lines, pads, and rotors (probably around $1,500).

I picked up a set of used brembo m sport calipers off this site from a guy upgrading his 240 to BBK. Put them on my 230 that had basic brakes. All I had to do was get new rotors and optional steel brake lines. Brakes are awesome. Toasted old calipers on track.

I would think it would just take maybe an adapter but nothing I look into seems to work so I think it's just a no, I'm trying to get rid of the 135 and make my 2 series crazy

Sure, there are lots of adapter kits on the market for multiple cars. One doesn’t exist to swap 1 series 6 pots to the 2 series because it isn’t a worthwhile upgrade. The reason isn’t necessarily the weak 6-pot ceramic pistons, but the fact that the M-performance blue system is bolt-on and significantly better for about the same cost.

In any case, downgrading the braking system of the 135i isn’t going to help you get rid of it any sooner. If the goal is going “crazy”, perhaps the increased displacement of the 135i is a better choice over your 2er.
