None of the FL-5? Is the FL-5 even going to be possible for the F22?

Nice renders. The EB render looks pretty realistic and tempting if you guys ever get around to making wheels that fit the F22. The concavity on the AW render is wishful thinking.

We're not 100% sure on the FL-5 yet. With the lipped design, it may be tough to produce it to our standards with the offsets required on the 2-series. Although we do have plans for an F30 fitment which has offsets in the ≈45mm range, so it should be possible. We don't have a concrete timeline at this point but we'll definitely post our updates here.

Bit of a necro...

I'm new to this forum and looking at getting an M235i soon. Also looking to replace the stock wheels as I'm really not a fan. Not decided between 18" or 19" yet but these SM-10s are an option I'm looking at.

Is there a recommended fitment for them on an F22 M235i? Surprised I haven't been able to find many people with these wheels.

Hi there,

In our SM-10 wheel design, the only fitment we currently offer that would work on the F22 2-Series utilizes the following specs:

Front & Rear: 18x8.5" ET35 with 225/40-18 tires
-Typically a direct fit. Certain compounds that run wider-than-average may
require front negative camber.
-235/40-18 tires can be a direct fit, but we strongly suggest dialing in front
and rear negative camber to prevent rubbing. Amount of camber varies
depending on tire brand and ride height.
-245/35-18 tires require at least 1.5 degrees of front negative camber, and
1.8 degrees of rear negative camber depending on tire brand and suspension
setup.
-255/35-18 tires require at least 2.2 degrees of front negative camber and
1.8 degrees of rear negative camber depending on tire brand and suspension
setup.

With a 18x8.5" ET35 wrapped in 225/40-18 tires at all four corners, this setup is typically a direct fit on a stock car. As a wider alternative, you can also run the tire sizes listed above but typically some additional negative camber is required to get those wider tires to fit without rubbing.

If you are looking for a setup that will provide you with a bit more tire while maintaining a direct fit, I would suggest this fitment as an alternative:

Front: 18x8.5" ET35 or ET38 with 225/40-18 tires
Rear: 18x9.5" ET58 with 255/35-18 tires

-Direct fit
-Available in ARC-8 or EC-7 design only.
-235/40-18 front tires can also be used, but we strongly suggest dialing in
front negative camber to prevent rubbing. Amount of camber varies
depending on tire brand and ride height.
-265/35-18 rear tires may also be used, but may require 3mm or larger
spacers, or trimming fender liner and shock dust boot.
-xDrive requires 225/40-18 front and 255/35-18 rear tires.

With a 18x8.5" ET35 or ET38 (depending on wheel design) front and a 18x9.5" ET58 rear, you can run 225/40-18 front and 255/35-18 rear tires as a complete direct fit. However, this setup is only available in our ARC-8 and EC-7 wheels at this time.

If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out!

-Geirsen
