BT audio no loud enough

So, when I play music off my phone through BT, the sound volumn is about half of what it would. Is there any way to make it match the normal volumn??

I've searched and what I'm seeing mostly is 'that's how it is'...which is not loud enough for me.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

If an Android, you could go into Developer Options and there's a setting that controls BT connection volume, forget what it's called. But you could try playing with that. In the BMW it's fine, and the DSP the phone exhibits is awesome when using BT for audio. That said, my wife's car is abysmal for BT audio as it limits volume but not when on a phone call. Weird... But I don't have that problem in the BMW. Volume is fine.

Good Luck!

This will still not be equal volume with other sources. And it adds some distortion to the mix as well. I have noticed the same problem as OP but have learned to live with it. Honestly the quality of the HK system is pure garbage. So bad it is not even funny, and so I don't listen to music much. New speakers in my future...

Thanks for the feedback folks. I'll play around w it some and see if suggestions work next time I get around to taking the car out (weather forecast say rain all week ugh.)

I have a f23 so I need a bit more volume when I put the top down.

I need a simple cheap solution to code...any cost effective suggestions for using a phone? I have both android and iPhone so either option works. I only want to do the following:
-Have my mirrors fold when I lock the door and walk away.
-Register battery (in the future)

I did a search so I know there is ton of information on coding options...I jus want a dumb basic set up 😆 🤣

Thanks again

Simply turning up the volumn on my phone did increase the volumn on the car stereo...but also added some distortion at max volumn (on car, so max volumn at both phoe and car). Still better than before...at least I can hear the music.

Stereo upgrade might be in the future... but I need to take care of the idrive screen delam first
