Just got out of Surgery..
I just got out of Surgery. Removed my appendix and it hurts like crazy. I'm hopped up on Motrin at the moment. For those have have done the procedure, what can I eat? I'm starving but the doctor said small light meals. Help!

my dad had this done awhile ago. Basically eat things that are very light to the stomach. My dad had soup and jello.
Goodluck with your recovery

Your doctor is likely a board-certified surgeon who spent at least 13 years *after* high school to become an expert in what (s)he does. No one else on this forum can possibly know what the surgeon is concerned about; no one else has been inside your abdomen. You need to ask your surgeon about optimal diet, pain control, activity restrictions, and overall trajectory of recovery that you should expect. Asking on this forum about surgery is like asking your doctor what mods you should get on your new M3.
