Left Right channel...swapped?

So I got a weird one for y'all. On "my" 235i that's just about to go out of warranty, the left and the right channel are swapped with the HK audio system. Anything supposed to be on the left, is on the right, and vice versa. It seems to only be a problem when using the 3.5mm Aux in.

Thoughts? Dropped the car off at the BMW dealership for the last service before warranty, and they seem very hesitant to even think about looking into it.

Obviously, the AUX In L/R wires are swapped. Easy dealer fix.

That's what I would expect, but I'm not even sure if the connector is reversible (unless of course the connector was manufactured incorrectly). Bluetooth L/R is fine I believe, though I don't really use it because it doesn't sound as good.

Socket harness pins are reversible... dealer will be able to swap the pins if they are not lazy. Otherwise, they will order a new socket to find out that the problem is the harness pins.

I'll see what they say, thanks for the heads up. I'll tell them not to worry about it if they struggle with it.
