Many state that this Coolant Return Line is susceptible to breaking well before 75K.

So I listened and purchased the part but was in NO hurry to replace. So now at 65K Miles I have had a replacement line for some time.

As I started to remove the line and with little to no force it broke off in my hand.

Lessoned Learned:

I was damn lucky. Change your line now. Took all of 5min to replace and although I did recirculate the coolant following the applicable procedure -- I lost very little fluid (maybe an ounce) and really did not need to do so.

2015 MY -- Broke at 65K on replacement.

Highly recommend replacement -- actually purchased mine at the dealer. Price was lower than on-line.

Dealer told me they keep it in-stock, replace a lot of lines on N55s

Is this different from the coolant inlet flange? Heard that this is also a common failure part on n55's
