fitment help

Stock m suspension 17 240 Coupe.

Looking at wheels that are 18x8.5" +32mm

Will this work with 225/40 front and 255/35 rear using extremecontact dws 06 plus tires?

Will it need a spacer or any where alignment changes?

FWIW, I just installed 18x8.5 ET35 on 245/40/18 Continentals. Camber plates adjusted to -2.3f, -1.7r. The top of the rear tire pokes a few mm from the fender, and the front barely fits. Not sure if the rear is scraping, but I'm assuming under high enough load it will. The front scrapes occasionally under high load with the wheels turned.

Point here is that I'm on similar wheels to you, and they rub with reasonably high camber. Your fronts will likely be alright, but the rears are going to poke out considerably. This car clearly prefers higher offset, I'd suggest looking for an ET40 set if possible. Camber plates are mandatory, and you might need to make compromises on treadlife to fit.

I don't care about it poking out at all tbh.. id rather is poke put and fit than to run a bunch of camber to make it work..

The +32 offset will make yours poke 3mm more than mine, which although marginal, might require a -0.1 more camber to fit comfortably. More problematic are the 255's. That extra width may be killer. Your saving grace might be that they're smaller diameter, so the extra suspension travel before the tires are level with the fender might move them inward enough to clear. Personally I'd look for alternatives with an ET40 offset instead, but if you're willing to take a risk, there's a chance you'll clear.
