Nay, it's too little trying to be too much. It needs to decide is it understated, playful or dressy. Too much of a headache.

If you like the design you can't go wrong with a Tissot.

It has a lot of appealing qualities but I don't think they go together well. I like the hands, casing, day/date and color scheme. I don't like how busy everything is or the grey around the edge.

That said, someone once told me (Tony) that watches look much better in person. I would see if you can check it out and see if it grabs you.

My general rule with watches, if you have to ask you shouldn't buy. Granted questions about movements or technical stuff aside, if you're not sure about it give it some time and hold out until you find something you must have.

i really enjoy Tissot at the right price. out of all my watches i likely wear tissot the most.

that said, i have a hard time giving advice if someone should buy a watch. you can be a giant guy attempting to buy a delicate watch that also does not fit your possible boisterous personality or a frail man buying something too strong that looks like it's an anchor for your arm.

if i had to decide on that image alone, i likely wouldn't pay more than $900 for it. why? because it requires a rubber bracelet to make it more versatile. as a matter a fact, i might seek that watch out at the store so i can see it on my wrist. if it fits my personality and large hands then i would like to own it. haha

the above is all just my opinion... nothing more.

What about Raymond Weil? Which one of these compared to the Tissot do you all like?

you need to do some soul searching. lol

don't buy something that someone else likes, buy something you like. if it feels right then the cost, brand or style doesn't matter.
