Received this email from KMAC
"Your BMW M235 front lower arm 'Camber' adjuster kit is #193616-8H (Front Caster Mono ball / 2 axis bush) is #193916-5J You have been supplied Camber adjuster bush #193616-6H which is for 'E' series not 'F'. Difference is only a fraction but as you witnessed enough not to allow press fit. So as above it is a type error and will being up with ECS immediately." So this looks like it was an error by ECS. KMAC are sending me the correct kit. I will hopefully get a response from ecs too. Will keep you updated.... |

Both KMAC and ECS tuning have both responded quickly to resolve this, really good customer service.
I get it, mistakes happen. That's life. It's how people react to those mistakes, and I feel both companies have been very helpful. |

Powerflex has non-adjustable (OEM replacement) street/race urethane versions available for m235 xdrive. They have adjustable upper caster bushing for RWD, and adjustable camber bushings for lower arms.
I just got the race version bushings that are fixed no adjustments, for both upper/lower arms from Powerflex. |

I wonder how true the claims are from KMAC that the bushings will add up to -1.5 degrees of camber. The design doesn't look all that different from Superpro/Powerflex and those can only get up to -0.5 degrees.

No problems at all. But the camber gain wasn't very impressive. The shop was only able to achieve around -0.8 degrees (it was -0.3 stock; didn't realize it was so low); so it did get what's advertise so at least that's good. If these KMAC do actually get -1.5, I'd get a set of it (once they go on sale )

Which Eibach springs are you on? The Sports or the regular? And was that -1 without anything else but the springs?

Eibach Pro-Kit. p/n E10-20-030-03-22. The camber is actually 2-3 minutes shy of -1º, -0.58º one side and -0.57º the other to be more exact. I also have the oem pivot bearings p/n 31216856535 and 31216856536 (realOEM says these are -30 min but people on here say they come this way from factory on xDrive). So I guess it's only the springs effect.

Got a really interesting and exciting email from KMAC
"Having " In House " Manufacture we are constantly designing new products and always updating existiing. See "About Us" on our Web site. Do note on forum all owners are wanting max. adjustment !! K-MAC Strut top adjusters provide serious Camber ?.Extra 1 ¼ inch. Idea is your adjuster is used in conjunction to not only provide extra but also track width in the pursuit of front row of the grid on race days. Decided to take another look at the front lower arm adjuster and see can increase to 2 degree ! Will put into production and send you 1st off sample in 2 weeks" Sounds amazing. |

camber plates............
Since the strut itself is fixed into the fender via the top strut mounts, the strut rod cannot pivot in the axis you are moving the wheel hub from the below control arms.. This is the same with anyone's adjustable bushing powerflex/kmac. Consider the following, if you put too much negative camber adjustment from factory design, that it could potentially induce extra stress to the strut rod, and break. Do you want to consider that? All the decent brand camber plates worth your coin include a spherical bearing where the strut rod is bolted too and solves this problem. Thus allowing the articulation of the strut shaft when you induce more negative camber. Imagine pushing the control arm outward from the bottom, with the strut shaft fixed on top, what happens? Bind! Camber plates for myself is not something I would even remotely consider on a daily driver.
Looking at related posts on this forum, all different options for our car come with problems that you have to put up with. I do a lot of commuting, and increased nvh (amongst the other issues extensively discussed) is not something I want to deal with. |

What exactly are you looking for? Have you looked into M3/4 control arms? Or maybe the M235iR control arms although I wasn't able to find any info on it. M235iR #'s from RealOEM Wishbone, left 31108417011 Wishbone, right 31108417012 Link: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=31_0942 |

I am xdrive......
I would look at reviews on the Dinan camber plates on here. Honestly, if you're doing a lot of tracking, great, but if not, I personally could not put up with all the banging and rattling. Trying to correct oversteer, whilst maintain oem feel. I would of done the control arms a long time ago.....if I could. |
