Very nice!
How is the fitment/install and build quality of the trunk?

IMO, i Wouldn’t paint it.seems like a waste to cover up the carbon, I could see if you’re more concerned about weight reduction than looks.
I would however get color matched side markers.

I would probably paint, but leave some of the vents exposed and maybe the lip of the trunk.

gap on hood is a little more than id like personally.

Hows the trunk fit?

Id paint them and leave a little CF sticking out.

I think I’d paint it. It looks good bare but it will be cool to that when you come in close u see the painted carbon fiber.

If u didn’t paint wound the fiber panels yellow ?

Yea, there is a bit of a gap in the front, but i think with a bit more adjustment i could get it to be closer but for not it doesnt bother me too too much, as for the trunk it is like near perfect theres like a 2mm gap but barely noticeable. the install was a little bit annoying. Only the wiring on the stock trunk, its routed in between the panels so it can get kind of stuck, but with a bit of messing with it, and cursing at it, it worked haha.

And yea i was thinking of painting the hood and just leaving the vents carbon, and the trunk just leaving some carbon at the edge. but still debating haha

I mean generally a good quality piece wont be too bad, but you need to constantly maintain it and continuously wax and keep it perfect.

haha yea, im honestly much more concerned with performance (idk if u are able to see the seats and half cage from these pictures), but i would like it to look decent too haha. And yea ive been meaning to get color matched side markers but ive just been lazy about it.

Don't paint it. You paid for CF so let it be known that you have CF and not a vinyl wrap lol How much of a weight savings do you get from replacing both?

That CSL-style trunk looks so nice!! I'd personally paint it body color and just leave a protruding unpainted "lip" as if you'd just put a spoiler on your trunk.

BTW if you don't mind me asking: what brand front lip is that? I like that its not too low for mayhem to ensue

yea, i think im on the same boat as you bro. I mean again dont get me wrong, i dont absolutely hate it like this especially because i dont daily it, but for now im leaving it like this until i decide exactly how i want to paint it. Im leaning more to paint match it and then leave some carbon exposed, still thinking though

I once saw a hood where it was mostly painted then maybe 6" from windshield faded into carbon, it looked really slick but assume it takes some skill to do.

On trunk I'd do something similar but have the underside of the spoiler section exposed and fading to red towards the plate.

Just an idea.

Did you just drill into the hood for the oem latch points? All I see is it requiring hood pins online.

No drilling needed. It says you need hood latched but you don't need to have them. I don't have an on mine

Yea, there are holes on it so you can reuse your oem latches.
