In the event it turns out to be the issue, it's worth asking the shop if it's able to diagnose internal tire manufacturing defects. Hope your health problems clear up soon!

Update. Finally got the car in and the tech said I had 3 bent rims and looking online, I could find any new stock wheels and the tech said you are taking a chance with the manufactured rims like what's on autorimshop.
Not sure what to do at this point as I sure don't want to spend a fortune on new rims. |

Sorry to hear of your wheel woes.
Try to find a wheel repair specialist. They may be able to repair the wheels if they aren't too bad. That would be my first goal anyways. 2nd may be seeking the classifieds, many people ditch their OEM wheels. |

Thank you sir. Found some decent looking aftermarket online and some that say they are factory wheels but can't verify by their website if they are re-manufactured or not. bmwpartswholesale.com.

If so, that's not much to choose from. They're all BMW wheels, all right; however, four are discontinued (or so the website says), and the other two are pretty expensive for what you get (and I doubt you want to spend $3K+ on 19" wheels). These are the BMW wheels that realoem shows as being for your car: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/par...BMW-230i&mg=36. Take a look at the wheels that are the same size as the ones you have now (most likely, they're 18" wheels). Are any of those wheels the same as the wheels that are on your car? BMW delivered our cars with two wheel set-ups: 1) same size all around; and, 2) staggered sizing, with narrower wheels in front and wider wheels in the rear. Do you know which you have? If not, tell us the tire sizes you have, and that might help. Getting your current wheels straightened is always a possibility - as long as they're still repairable. Although I've had this kind of work done, I'm no expert in the subject and would just caution that some wheels cannot be straightened/repaired and you'll want to find a qualified shop to examine the wheels and advise you appropriately. Typically, you can get a wheel straightened along with a complete refresh of the wheel (strip, prime(?), paint, and clear coat) for ~$200-250 per wheel. That gives you like-new wheels as far as appearance goes. --------------------- We've totally hijacked OP's thread, haven't we.

Yes we have or at least I have and apologize if I did wrong.
Looks like the same site but different page shows the oem rims for some reason. https://www.bmwpartswholesale.com/wh...w-230i-xdrive? I've thought seriously of buying some somewhat cheaper aftermarket rims that show on tire rack? Thanks for you help and everyone else. Not thinking too clearly these days. |

TireRack has never steered me wrong in 25+ years. I would go with them. You can even talk to a real person who knows what they are talking about. Rare in this day and age.

In the last few week's i've lowered the car on HR springs and added 15mm spacers along with an alignment, I'm very much enjoying the car.
