VRSF 5" intercooler owners inquiry

Hey all,

So I recently got a '15 235 from the classifieds here, very well-cared for but decided to replace the OEM charge pipe with a VRSF unit pre-emptively, and after reading several threads here and speaking to local BMW mech, thought I might as well do the intercooler at the same time since the labor would be similar if I did it later. I don't know yet if I want to add power, and if so would be something mild like JB4 stage 1 but I just want to make sure I'm not going to experience additional lag from the larger volume of the 5" intercooler from VRSF.

Has anyone else replaced their IC without adding power notice anything different about the performance in general?

thx

You won't feel any lag, someone did some testing on the larger 6.5" core and barely lost around 1/2 psi
Car will be more consistent with that intercooler; I have it; no power loss whatsoever
