Performance Mods to Prioritize after a tune?

Hi All,

I have a 2018 230i xDrive that I will be getting the Dinantronics Elite V2 installed on soon. I would have gone JB4, but the vehicle is still under warranty so wanted to play it safe and have my Dinan BMW dealer do the install. My questions are, what would be the best mods to do next? I'm looking to maximize performance and reliability. Some things I have been in mind based off researching the forum:

BMC Filter / K&N Drop in / Burger Billet Intake

Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe

Either Evolution Racewerks or AA Downpipe (catted)

Is there anything else I should look into to further performance while at the same time increasing reliability? Should I prioritize the above in any particular order? Are there any other brands/models I should consider?

I know much of this is on the forum already, but looking for the most up to date recommendations so posted a new thread.

I think the consensus is.

Intercooler, charge pipe, downpipe, and tune. Not sure the Dinan Tune supports the downpipe though.

I thought I read that the Dinantronics thing was NOT covered under warranty like other Dinan mods. Hmm, must have been something else they were talking about.

I would like to read your review when you get it installed.

Dinan offers two solutions for the b46/b48. One is a sport performance tuner, and the other is the Dinantronics Elite V2. The sport performance tuner does not come with the warranty replacement, where the Elite V2 does. The sport performance tuner is a few hundred bucks cheaper. I've heard good things about the V2, but haven't been able to find toooo much on it. So I will try and review it when I get it installed and have it up and running for some time.

i recommend the Active Autowerke downpipe since Dinan does not hide the CEL code and AA offers a no CEL guarantee.

Get an intercooler and charge pipes as well and you are all set

Since I am in CA needed to be careful so went Dinan Elite V2, actually had pre-V1 until they replaced it with V1 and a final replacement with V2, Dinan free flow exhaust, BMC air filter and Evolution charge pipe. Performance is great and no engine issues. Add the intercooler and downpipe and you would have a really quick and still dependable ride.
