22nd of December? (Yes, I’m in shock)

Is it for a March date?

I'm jealous. I'm being told nobody will get any more allocations until February, and even then very few of them will be given out since they're "slowing down production since this is the last year of production."

Yeah literally every dealer tells me something different so I honestly don't know who to trust since that means most, if not all, of them are lying to me. This is why I hate dealing with dealerships

If he placed an order on December 22 and received a production number already, then I’m really scratching my head.

If Bill Jacobs (#2 on the attached list) is a miracle worker and can get allocations, I can head Naperville.

Wow, didn't expect my post to get this reaction! Hopefully you guys are able to find a slot soon. My original plan was to wait, but once I saw production ending and issues/delays on this and other posts I knew I had to pull the trigger now. Again good luck to everyone looking

Production # usually hits about 2 weeks before the car is built, but given the current situation in Germany all bets are off.

The status sheet your SA sees has the predicted production dates circled in red. This was mine and it predicted week 41 while it was actually built in week 42.

End of Production?

Hello,

Any updates regarding end of production?

I emailed my dealer about ordering a 2021 M240i and he said they are "in build out" and we won't be able to order one.

Mine was updated to "production begins" on BMW.COM. My dealer did say it was a bit of a challenge to get it, best advice I guess is just email as many dealers you can.
