2021 M2 Parking Distance Control/Parking Assistance

Can anyone tell me if the 2021 M2 Competition has the parking distance control and/or Parking Assistance? If so, do the camera(s) actually show video on the display of what they see?

Many thanks.

For those who might be interested, I've just seen a BMW Pricing Guide that indicates that a rear view camera, the park distance control, and the active driver assistant are included as standard on the 2021 F87. I'm assuming that the active driver assistant is compatible with the manual transmission ... we'll see.

The F80 had Active Parking Assistance available with the manual transmission, but it only controlled steering, the driver had to control gear, clutch and brake.

I paid $200 for the park assist on my 2021 f23 with a 6mt. I selected it for the gimmick value at a relatively low cost. It actually works pretty well, it’s kind of fun to watch and it’s just one less thing to worry about after a long drive. It can back into regular spots and also do parallel— you press a little check box and then it searches for viable spots as you drive by. As the previous poster said it pretty much does the steering and tells you when to change gears.

The M2C has front and rear PDC along with a rear back up camera that displays the video on the screen.

Hey Nick, how does it work for backing into a spot? Just curious if it uses the paint stripes of the parking spot to line up, or does it have to be in between two cars?
