M235i Suspension Maintenance

Guys, my car is around 110k miles
I was wondering what kinda of preventive maintenance do I need for the suspension on my car at this millage to avoid being stranded in the side of the road
Also, anyone had bad engine/transmission mounts? I have seen a DYI video for the transmission mount, but not for the engine mounts.

Front strut mounts and thrust arm bushings are typically the weaker links. Then the front wishbone bushings.

Is there any difference in this regard between the M235i and the M240i?

Nothing suspension wise is going to leave you stranded somewhere unless you hit something. In that case a new part wouldn't have helped. You replace bushings and shocks and such when they start performing poorly. You could probably benefit from new shocks and mounts but that's about it.

thanks for the feedback guys, and sorry for the late replay .

Okay, so i looked up these parts in FCP Euro, but im confused on which ones to get

If you see attachment "123", there are 2 kits for strut mounts, one w/o adaptive suspension and the other is w/ adaptive suspension. Im assuming I should get the one w/ adaptive suspension?

Also for attachment "321", there is a control arm and a tension strut, are these the same thing? you can see that the control arm is specific for the m235i

Tension strut and control arm are two different things.

Use RealOEM.com to find your part numbers.
