Hello. Anyone have any idea where this noise could be coming from? This noise is happening when I turn the steering wheel. It's only on the front right and only when the cars been driven for a bit. Also not very consistent in volume, but the attached video captures it well. If I get in my car after it was parked overnight and turn the wheel, it does not make the noise.

Any thoughts? Recently had Dinan springs installed and think that maybe something was done wrong..? Sounds like something is possibly rubbing. Maybe the rubber spring boot?

Thanks in advance!
Before anyone asks, no that's not coming from the tire rubbing on the ground.

I listened and it wasn't familiar with anything I've seen posted before.

It sound like it could be a stiction issue, where something was over tightened ornate tightened enough.

You could spray some CRC 3084 Dry Molly Lube where the springs set up high under the tower and down low around the spring shelf /control arm and on sway bar links.

Noise wasn't there before Dinan install ? Make sure spring are not upside down and people talk them being directional ( not sure what that means ). Just stick your camera grind and take multiple pictures of both sides then compare.

Hey thanks for the reply! Definietly wasn't there before Dinan install and the sound is sometimes there, sometimes not, but I seem to be able to get it pretty consistently after driving for a while and it's definitely only on the front right which makes me think there's a problem. The springs were installed in the right direction so I agree, maybe an issue with over/under tightening.

I didn't do the install myself and the shop I used has been really difficult to get a hold of. I think I'm going to go to a different shop and just have them verify the installation and make sure they tighten everything correctly. Thanks!
