Air flow max when defogging

As you know, when press the defog button, air flow is set as maximum.
Is there any way to change this by coding (bimmercode)?
It is just annoying whenever I press defog button..

Mine comes on one level down from max. I thought it was able to remember the last setting used, but I'm not sure.

Yes I have noticed it goes to max, and even if you adjust the fans to a lower level, the heat comes out max level too. I have been reading another way of defrosting is not using that defrost button but instead setting the air button to distribute air to the top vents only + not recirculate and then turning on AC if necessary. I haven't had my windows fog up since reading this so i haven't seen if this works or not.
