Wish we could get away with that. It is now a primary offense in Washington and they can pull you over just for not having a front plate. Also the meter maids are writing no front plate tickets.

Got a warning for that one as I told him the car was a lease and I wasn't going to drill a hole into a leased car. I did get a ticket from a meter maid once for it. $42 I believe At the moment I don't have a front plate and don't plan on putting one on. I have the plate in my car so if I have to park on the street, I just put the plate on my dash. |

I've heard good things about this but I don't need a front plate so never really looked into it seriously:

Got mine from US Millworks and installed today.
High quality milled aluminum, sturdy, a breeze to install and looks great!

No front plate is also illegal in IL. Tickets run $75. Got a ticket once in the M3 while I was simply waiting to pick someone up, meter hoe caught me. I use chicken wire and clips to simply let it rest on the front mesh below the grills, quick fix as I only use while parking in Chicago.

Great! I was hoping it was the quick release. I'm definitely planning on getting this! Was it pretty easy to stop the dealer from drilling holes for the front plates? I'm just worried they'll automatically do it when the car comes in.

My dealer didn't drill it without telling them not to do it. I think they were going to drill it when I went there to pick up the plates tho but told them i won't put front plate on my car. My dealer asked me to sign on a paper that said they have told me front plate is require by law and that was it.
just tell them not to install to make it sure. |

Is it worth it to get the lightened version? Also how do you adjust it so it doesnt trigger the parking sensors? Are there brackets included to offset it or what?
