VAC monoball xDrive lower and upper control arm set
I'm selling this, very mildly used. Like maybe 500 miles on it. I used it on my 2017 M240i (xDrive) and it just wasn't for me. I will cover up to $50 of shipping. https://store.vacmotorsports.com/mob...ive-p4884.aspx |

Hey, I'm interested. Curious why you feel they weren't for you, also wanted to ask about estimated shipping to 11201 given you're covering up to $50 on that.

Hey sorry, I ended up selling them. They honestly are not worth it to me. The steering is like, mildly more precise. I initially bought them to reduce vagueness on center, which replacing them didn't do. They just made the ride harsh, but not in a way you expect. It's not really "firmer." The small cracks on the road and imperfections just vibrate the entire car. You really learn how much plastic is behind the dashboard because you go over a hairline crack at 10 mph and the entire car sounds like it's about to fall apart. So i switched them back to new OEM control arms and replaced the steering thrust piece. The latter, which is like 100 bucks to replace, fixed the vagueness entirely.
I'd get them if you're doing track driving OR, live in a place where the roads are perfect. Yes the steering is better, but honestly not by much. The steering on these cars isn't bad to begin with despite the complaining. If you want to sharpen the suspension, get some nice coilovers. I also see you're in NYC, yeah do not get these lol. I just moved to NYC. Every time I got onto an onramp i thought it was going to vibrate my car into a million pieces |
