Back license plate screws

Will thiese screws fit a m235i in the back license plate?

Those seem too thick. I got the regular ones from Lowes ...

Weeknd,

Go to realoem.com and find the screws on the parts list to ensure they are the right size. Easiest way to get the information you need. Good luck.

These are too big: they are 5mm if I recall.

Just take out one of the current screws and take it to a hardware store to match. It will be metric and get ones that are stainless steel.

I ordered some black oxide coated stainless M5-0.8 size / thread 8mm length screws from Amazon and they fit perfect.

My hardware store(s) didn't have anything that would work.

Here are the screws I used on my M240i. I have them primed but haven't got around to painting them EB to match the plate frame and car.
