swapping headlights?

Hi All,

Just got a 2016 228i with M-sport package and was wondering if it is possible to switch the headlight to the 2019 (the more hexagonal one) headlights?

It is possible, however it is going to be expensive. approx $4k USD

IND have a kit, you need the new headlights + modules + wire harness + coding

There's a 'sort of' cheaper option, but you'll have to contact Lightwerkz to get a quote. It didn't cost me $4,000, however.

I went with them to get my retrofit Bi-Xenon w/LED Haols headlights. There's a lot of options available, but I decided to stick with a 'factory lighting package upgrade', because I like the subtlety of it as well as the looks.

yikes - that's over 20% the cost of the whole car!
