I got a hold of my dealership and they said the ship date is the 12th, which is Thursday. I'll be lucky if it gets there by Saturday, so I'm guessing Monday or Tues next week.

No reason given for the delay.
Mine is still a 5/22 arrival into NJ with no release yet. I might be looking at one month at the NJ port before it gets shipped.

Its possible there was some damage during shipping that had to be repaired.

As of today, I have joined you at the port. But, after reading about the delays here, I will be surprised if i see it before July.

I've not heard about ED cars taking longer at port. Does anyone know why?

Basil / five3three, sorry to hear you guys are delayed also. Any idea why you're at the NJ port vs Brunswick? I know the ship transitions through there but didn't know you'd be offloaded. Is it for accessory install?

Mine reached on 5/23 at NJ VPC. Estimated dealer delivery now shows as 6/23. Horrible.

European delivery cars take considerably longer because they have to go through formal customs inspection. The car is essentially shipped as a used car, so its subject to all thorough checks as anything else that is shipped. New cars are sealed and part of a controlled process from the manufacturer to the port so no shady things can (or should) be snuck in.

In addition to that, customs "randomly" flags cars for more thorough inspections so those that do get this extra screening get delayed for even more time. I had a car get flagged for extra screening by US Customs (being shipped out of the US) and that delayed it by 2 weeks.
