i know i should just search, and im going to annoy the forum gods, but im a new bmw owner/ bmw forum member and i was wondering where i could find on here or anywhere else, how to get info on how to(if its possible) upgrade my idrive to the latest one to accept apple car play, or get the "tech package" put into my 2015 M235i. that's the package i dont have.

Bimmer tech do retrofits but it isn't cheap.

yeah i came across them to and i assume this voids the fuck out of my warranty? But the price is not much diff that getting the tech package initially on a new car...essentially.

BUT, is it really NOT possible to go to a dealership and have them make my car have the latest tech package, or at least the head unit?? id think bmw would love to do this as a way to get some more money.

Nope, any BMW dealership will say such an upgrade is not possible.
