Has anybody added the black kidney grills to their 2 series?

Thanks, I found that DIY on the F30 page. I'm nervous to pull the bumper out like that, the car is so new and I don't want to break anything. Someone said they were unable to realign the bumper and hood properly afterwards. What were your thoughts on the install using the guide? Any advice?

Hold off a week if my dealer doesn't get mine installed for me I'm going to attempt myself without pulling the bumper, based on a number of threads I've read for different models. If it works ok I'll post a DIY.

Also if don't remove the rubber seal all the way and just put it out of the way on one side it is easier to line it back up.

It's decided! The black kidney grills and carbon fiber mirror caps will be my first mods on my Estoril Blue M235i.

With the design of the bumper cover having the tabs that it slides into getting it align in not issue. The cover is very flexible so no worries of breaking it. If my gorilla arms can reach in there anyone's can

I have done this on three BMWs, it is not hard but I do wish I had smaller hands...

Had my neighbor help me install my grills, shes got small hands so was able to help hold the bumper and grill when I would unclick the clips. Took about 25 minutes, but other than that just some sweat.

Will say those clips were bitches.

Just put my black grilles on today. I cut a slat to get access to the tabs.
